Note from Susan: the Gasparilla Invasion and Parade is approaching. The date is January 28th. The wristbands have been ordered and all units will once again receive 5 free wristbands. Wristband Distribution Day is planned for Friday, 1/27. Please let me know if you would like to order more wristbands. The cost is the same as last year - $10 for each band. If you want to purchase more than 50 bands, the wristbands in excess of 50 will then be $15 each. Exciting new plans are being made for this year's event! The Board has appointed a Social Committee to come up with and plan a festive and memorable day for Parkside. I promise to keep you informed as the plans unfold. If you plan on decorating for Gasparilla, please be reminded that you may hang your pirate wreaths on your door during the week of the event only and you can fly your banners and flags on your balconies only on the 28th during the invasion and parade. |
